Also its animal lore not beastmastery that affects if animals will listen to your commands. Beastmastery affects only advanced pets animal lore as well such as Dread, Wyvern, Beetle and so on. Thank you for the advice! However, I disagree about arrows being cheap. They most certainly are not.

Legends of Aria: Animal Taming
Animal Taming | Legends Of Aria Wiki | Fandom
Animal Taming is a combat skill which allows you to tame and control certain creatures. In order to tame an animal, you need to equip a weapon called a crook and use its ability to tame a creature. By default, the ability is bound to the Q hotkey. You can buy a crook at any carpenter shop or craft one using the Carpentry skill. The Animal Lore skill is also necessary in order to both tame and control tameable creatures. Additionally, Animal Lore increases the effectiveness of healing a pet and enables the ability to resurrect your pets with bandages if used in conjunction with the Healing skill or the Resurrection spell if used in conjunction with Manifestation. The Beastmastery skill increases the damage that is dealt with a pet; however, it is not required in order to tame, control or have any creature transferred to a tamer.
Animal Taming is a fun skill in Legends of Aria. It allows you to make beasts a pet of yours, and even tame your own mounts! It's a very grindy skill and takes a long time compared to other combat skills. Animal Lore will increase the chances the pet listens to you, and how much you heal them with bandages. You will need 80 animal lore to resurrect your pet with bandages and 80 healing.
Once the pressure feels right, you can keep it there for 15 minutes or so. If not, a local pharmacy should be able to get one in, though they may ask some questions and require an Rx. You can manually pump up to a comfortable pressure and the cylinders are detachable as well.
Good tip, man, thank you.
